Rant: Canadian Tire ran out of cabinet hardware, now my kitchen reno is delayed!

Seriously frustrated right now. I ordered cabinet knobs and pulls from Canadian Tire in Ottawa two weeks ago for my kitchen reno, and they just emailed me the stock is delayed indefinitely. I paid up front and now my installer can’t finish the job. Anyone else dealing with supply chain issues for home renos? It’s driving me nuts!

Yeah, supply chain is rough everywhere. I switched to ordering online from a US supplier and used expedited shipping.

Try checking local hardware stores or even Habitat for Humanity ReStores for unique hardware pieces.

Did you ask if they can substitute with a similar item? That might speed up your reno.
