Confused about projector lumens for bright living room with big windows in Ottawa

Looking for a projector to use mainly during daytime in my Ottawa living room that has big south-facing windows. Can’t really darken room fully. How many lumens do I need? I’ve seen models ranging from 2000 to 4000 lumens at Costco. Any advice?

You’ll want at least 3000 lumens to get a decent picture in bright rooms.

Look for projectors with good contrast ratio and consider ambient light rejecting screens too.

Check out Epson’s models at Costco, they have good brightness for the price.
