Stove burner igniter clicking non-stop in Calgary, any fixes?

My stove in Calgary keeps clicking on the igniter even after the burner lights up. It’s driving me nuts! I’ve cleaned around the burner with a toothbrush and checked for moisture but no luck. Anyone else faced this? Is it a faulty igniter switch or something else?

I had that with my GE stove last winter. For me, the igniter was worn out. Replaced the igniter switch for about CAD 50 from Home Depot and it stopped.

Sometimes water or food crumbs lodged under the igniter cause this. Try a deeper clean and dry thoroughly.

Did you check the spark module? That caused continuous clicks for me once.
