Air purifier for smoke and pet dander in small Calgary condo?

Chloe Johnson · · 3 replies

I’ve been dealing with wildfire smoke drifting into Calgary lately, plus my cat’s dander triggers allergies. Looking for an air purifier that can handle smoke particles and allergens efficiently in my 600 sq ft condo. Something under $300 CAD would be ideal. Any brands or models that stand out? Also, how often do you swap filters?

I have the Coway Airmega 150 for my apartment, under your budget and great for smoke and pet allergens. Filters last about 6 months.

The Levoit Core 300 is also a good option, affordable and effective for smaller spaces.

Do you have a balcony or open windows often? Keeping windows closed during smoke events helps a lot too.
