Dealing with clogged vacuum hose, DIY fix tips?

My old Shark vacuum hose got clogged with pet hair and bits from carpet. It’s from Costco, about 4 years old. I tried pushing stuff down with a broom handle but only a part of it cleared. Can anyone share tricks or tools to fully clear a clogged hose without buying a replacement? The hose is flexible but pretty long (about 6 feet).

Try using a plumbing snake or even a coat hanger bent straight. Worked for me on a similar Shark model.

Compressed air from Canadian Tire helped blow out some tough clogs.

Sometimes soaking the hose in warm soapy water helps loosen any sticky stuff inside.
