Clogged kitchen sink after using baking soda and vinegar, help!

I tried the classic baking soda and vinegar method to clear my Vancouver kitchen sink drain but now it’s draining even slower. What’s the next step? Should I try a plunger or rent a drain snake? I don’t want to call a plumber just yet since last time it cost me $150 CAD.

Baking soda and vinegar works best if you flush it with hot water afterwards. Try boiling a kettle and pour directly down the drain.

Rent a hand auger from RONA or Canadian Tire for $20-$30, it’s usually enough for kitchen sink clogs.

Is it a garbage disposal? Sometimes stuff gets stuck in there and you need to manually clear it.
