Engineered hardwood vs laminate for Winnipeg winters?

Debating whether to install engineered hardwood or laminate flooring in my Winnipeg home. Concerned about humidity swings and potential warping. Laminate is slightly cheaper but I like hardwood look/feel. What’s been your experience?
