Best HDMI cables for running 25 ft behind drywall in Vancouver?

Hey all, I’m planning to mount my new Samsung QN90A in the living room and run HDMI cables behind the drywall to the AVR across the room. It’s about 25 feet. Should I be looking for active HDMI cables or is premium certified enough? Also, any advice on fish tape or conduit? Weather in Vancouver is humid, so wondering if that affects cable quality.

I’d recommend active HDMI for anything over 15 ft, especially 25 ft. I got mine at Canadian Tire, not too pricey.

Make sure to get HDMI cables rated for in-wall use! Home Depot carries CL2-rated cables, which are fire safe.

You can use a fish tape but a thin conduit is better if you ever want to swap cables without opening drywall again.
