Robot vacuum stuck under couch despite low profile model

I got a Neato D7 robot vacuum because it has a flat design and I thought it would fit under my IKEA couch. But it keeps getting stuck or turning around awkwardly. The couch legs are about 12 cm high. Anyone else have this problem? How can I train or adjust the robot to better navigate low clearance spots? Would changing furniture height be the only solution?

Tried taping down a piece of cardboard as a ramp? Helped mine cross slightly higher thresholds.

Some models let you set virtual no-go zones. Have you tried blocking that area off?

If your couch legs are low clearance, raising them a bit with furniture risers could solve it.
