Water leak behind kitchen fridge, possible supply line issue?
Sam Fraser · · 3 replies
Found water pooling behind my fridge in Vancouver, and I think it’s from the water supply line for the ice maker. No visible cracks but the hose feels old. Should I just replace the line or could it be something else? Any recommendations for durable replacement hoses?

Replace it ASAP, braided stainless lines from Canadian Tire last longer than plastic ones.

Check the shutoff valve too, if it’s dripping internally it can leak.

Make sure to turn off water before swapping hose, and test for leaks after.
