Bought a Dyson V11 at Home Depot Vancouver, battery life disappointing

I picked up a Dyson V11 from Home Depot two weeks ago. The specs say up to 60 minutes of run time, but mine barely lasts 30 on medium power. I mostly vacuum hardwood and area rugs in a 1200 sq ft condo. Battery was fully charged before use. Any ideas if this is normal or a defect? Thinking about returning or exchanging it.

Mine also didn’t last as long at first, but after a few full charges the battery life improved somewhat. Try calibrating the battery by running it until it dies then fully charging.

Did you have the LCD screen on the V11? It shows battery percentage which helps manage usage better.

If it’s brand new, I’d definitely return it. My new V11 easily runs 50-60 mins on eco mode.
