Oh, the hardwood vs. laminate debate! I totally get where you're coming from. We actually put in hardwood in our living room a couple of years ago, and while it looks gorgeous, I’ve spent a small fortune on maintenance and scratch repairs. Plus, we have a couple of dogs, so you can imagine the wear and tear! Laminate might be the way to go if you want something more durable and less of a headache. Plus, there are some really great styles that can mimic hardwood! Anyone else tried mixing and matching for different spaces?
