Replaced a leaking faucet cartridge myself, tips for newbies

Took my chances and replaced a leaky kitchen faucet cartridge last weekend in Montreal. Bought the part at Canadian Tire for $25. Biggest hassle was finding the right replacement model. Use a flashlight and take pics before disassembly! Anyone else find this tricky?

I recommend soaking cartridges in vinegar if they’re stuck.

Also, keep an adjustable wrench handy; plastic parts can easily crack.
