Need advice on replacing laminate countertops with quartz in Toronto kitchen

Hey all, thinking of upgrading my Toronto kitchen countertops from laminate to quartz. Wondering if anyone has recent experience with prices and installation timelines? I’ve seen some quartz slabs at Home Depot around $70 CAD per sq ft, but not sure about total cost including installation for a 12x10 ft kitchen. Any tips on choosing a durable quartz brand or installers local to GTA? Thanks!

I did something similar last year. Total cost came to about $2500 installed. Make sure to ask installers about slab thickness and warranty.

Hey! Did you check out IKEA’s quartz offerings? A bit cheaper but installation can take longer. Also, any idea if granite is worth considering?

I’m in Mississauga and used a local place called Quartz Pros. They had great customer service and fair pricing.
