Best way to deal with water spots on a black-painted car in rainy Vancouver?

My 2019 VW Golf in black is getting annoying water spots after every rain here in Vancouver. I wash it weekly but the spots still come back quickly. Any detailing products or tricks to prevent or remove water spots without damaging the paint? Looking for something I can pick up at Canadian Tire or Home Depot.

I use a quick detail spray with a microfiber towel right after light rain. It helps keep spots at bay.

For stubborn spots, a clay bar followed by a light polish can remove them safely.
