Oh man, I can totally relate to this! I once thought I was saving a ton by tackling a leaky sink myself. I watched a few YouTube videos, got all pumped up, and dove in. Fast forward a few hours, and I ended up with more water on my floor than in the pipes! Not to mention I had to buy some extra tools because I didn't have what I needed. So much for saving money! Now, I try to stick to simple stuff like changing light fixtures or painting – less chance of a mini flood! Anyone else have a DIY disaster to share?
