Starting my basement reno and realized I need a permit here in Quebec City. But the process seems complicated and slow. Has anyone dealt with the Ville de Québec permitting for basement finishing? How long did it take? Anything I should watch out for to avoid delays?

Also watch for electrical and plumbing inspections, they’re separate and can cause delays if not scheduled properly.
