Winterizing My 2012 Subaru Outback - Any Tips?

I’m prepping my 2012 Subaru Outback for my first heavy snow season here in Winnipeg. I plan to swap to winter tires with rims, check antifreeze levels, and top off washer fluid with de-icer. Anything else I should consider? Also, any recommended winter tires that balance grip and longevity?

Look into checking your battery health too. Cold kills batteries fast.

I run Blizzak WS90 on my Outback. Great grip on ice with decent tread life.

Don’t forget to check windshield wiper blades - a good rubber swipe helps visibility.
