Best affordable polish for light swirl marks on a black Honda Civic?

Hey all, I just picked up a 2016 Honda Civic EX in black, and the paint has some visible swirl marks and minor scratches. I'm new to detailing and looking for a polish that’s effective but won’t break the bank—something around CAD $20-$40. Anyone tried something from Canadian Tire or Home Depot that works well on black paint? Thanks!

Try Meguiar's Ultimate Polish from Canadian Tire. I got mine for about $25 and it really helped with swirls on my black Mazda.

Have you considered the Mothers California Gold line? It’s around $30 at Home Depot and works great on dark colors.

Just curious, are you using a DA polisher or doing it by hand? Polishing by machine vs hand makes a big difference.
