Dishwasher door latch broke after just 2 years, Samsung model

My Samsung dishwasher latch snapped off after two years of use. Tried gluing it back, but it keeps breaking. Anyone else had this issue? Warranty just expired, and repair quotes are around $250 CAD. Thinking of buying a new unit from Canadian Tire.

Mine did something similar. I found a compatible latch on eBay for about $30 and replaced it myself.

You might be able to get a Samsung refurbished part cheaper if you search online.

Sometimes the latch break is caused by door misalignment. Check the door hinges.
