Hey there! Love the spirit of diving into DIY, but have you considered the potential costs of those plumbing fails? Water damage can get really costly, not to mention the risk of mold if things go wrong. Plus, if you attempt something and it doesn't work out, you might end up needing a pro anyway, which could cost more than if you'd just called them in the first place.
