Range hood replacement suggestions for small Vancouver kitchen?
Tyler Brown · · 3 replies
Hey everyone, I’ve got a tiny kitchen in my Vancouver condo and the old range hood is basically useless—noisy and doesn’t ventilate well. I’m considering a Panasonic or Broan model, around CAD 300-400 budget. Any recommendations for something quiet but effective? Also, how hard is the install for a novice?

I installed a Broan in my Toronto condo last year. Super quiet and pulls good air. The install was doable by myself, just watch some YouTube vids before starting.

If you have ducting already, it makes it easier. Panasonic models are solid too. Just check the size matches your cabinet space.

Is your hood ducted or recirculating? Ducted is much better if you can manage the venting.
